My Friend, The Fish

About a couple days ago, my best friend, Winter sadly passed away because of a big swollen eye (A.K.A. Popeye.) And a few days before that, I noticed it. But, I just thought it was a thing on his eye. I should of looked closer, because I didn’t see his pupil. Poor Winter. Never even got to spend his birthday with him. I was what you call . . . Devastated. Sad. Tearful. Mad. Mad at me for not telling someone. For thinking, “Ah, he’ll be fine.” Well guess what Misa? He’s not! But it’s too late to warn myself because maybe I don’t know, two days later, I’m feeding him and I looked even closer. “ Why is that big thing still there? Oh my gosh Winter! You have a swollen eye!” I was thinking out loud and my mom and my brother heard me.We quickly searched the web and found a website that said you should act quickly to prevent death, blindness or the eye falling completely out of his socket! I was so scared, that I started to cry. My mom kept on saying, “ It’s okay. We’re treating it.” But it was a slightly too late. “Um mama? Winter is floating in the corner,” said my little bro. And then it happened. I cried a little. Then more. Then . . . it was pouring my tears. Winter was gone.

It was horrible. The crying. The tears. The empty hole in my heart. I can’t stand thinking about him. And some people call it crazy, to have a fish as your best friend. I don’t. Yes, he may be gone, but I am proud to call him,

My friend, the fish.

The birds sing, the flowers glow, there are smiles creeping up on every gloomy face, and the best part, every moment you spent with the people you love. The expression representing this is Happiness.

The key to happiness is a pinch of kindness, a dash of smiles, and a whole jar of LOVE!!!!!
This little recipe is for everyone who like to love.

Dearest Memories

I was cleaning my room when I noticed something shining in the distance.
I pick it up. Hold it for a minute, then recognize it.

It was a doll. Not just any doll, but Kara. Kara was my absolute FAVORITE doll when I was littler. I remember the time when I lost her and got so upset I wouldn't get out of bed until I found it in my pillow case. I chuckle a little and go back to cleaning my room.

I search for clumps of toys mashing against each other, and I find my giraffe, Zu-Zu. I remember the day I got it. It was my last day of kindergarten. My teacher came up with this idea, that you had to fill up a jar with marbles, and when you filled it up, your WHOLE class got a prize. We filled up the biggest marble jar we had. We got little stuffed-animals. My teacher even cried. I knew I would have something to remember her by.

I finally come to my last part of my room. I look everywhere for clothes unfolded and untidy. I find a jean skirt with a ocean fabric sewn across it. I defiantly remember this one. My sister got me it for my 3rd birthday. It went down to my ankles. One morning, in first grade, I noticed there was a hole in my skirt. Naturally, I told my parents. Luckily, I know a great sewer, so I asked her to sew my skirt, and she did!

So thank-you my dearest memories. You helped me a lot.

The Earth And It's Ways

Ever heard of that saying, "Don't let nature get the best of you?" If you haven't, that's okay.
Well I've never listened to that. Because nature can get the best of you and it's fine, it's fine.
Unless it's animal nature where you can get attacked by a vicious animal.

Awkward. . .

Any way just have fun with nature.
Like the Ocean.
That, is like an awesome form of nature.

Or snow.
Snow is fun. You can make snowmen or snow forts or have a snowball fight.

Or rain.
Rain makes your garden grow.

Speaking of which. . .

Flowers. Gardens. Any form of nature, even the most scariest form can be really fun.

So think of nature as . . . .

A big, outdoor, fun castle.

Spring Photos

This is a silhouette with a touch of sunlight. It's my mom and dad at a park.

These two yellow dandelions are as bright as the sun.

These cool things are pea pods I found at a park and I decided to make a shape out of them.
