Happy Holidays!

Why, hi everybody! I hope you've a had some very merry holidays!
This is my first blog post for 2013, so I want to make it REAL important. I'm going to write down my new years resolutions.
Okay, here it goes.
  1. To eat potato chips quietly (in which I've never done).
  2. Not to get into "too much drama".
  3. To not be shy (in other words, dance in random flash mobs).
  4. Face my fears (okay, maybe I'll screw this one up because of my severe phobia of clowns. I'm never going to the circus).
  5. To make my bed (I get caught up in the Wii).
  6. Try new foods (I want to try "Haggis." It sounds magical!)
  7. To learn the lyrics to "On Wisconsin" ( I know, I'm ashamed. I'm a Wisconsinite!)
  8. To learn how to do a back walkover (you have to kick your legs over after you do a backbend. It's hard!)
  9. To help others more often.
  10. To get outside more often (it might be hard because of the Wii we got).
  11. To brush my hair every night (my hair gets tangly, with a capital T!)
  12. Get more exercise (I'm spending more time on electronics. Hmm... should I be on this computer?)
  13. Get better at piano (I'm not doing so well...)
  14. To get all my facts right in math (I want to get them memorized...      FAST!)
  15. Keeping in touch with family ( I have some emails to reply to!)
Well, those were my new years resolutions!
Happy new year!

Perfect World

In a perfect world, a girl lies on her queen-sized bed. She rings a tiny bell, for her servants to come. When they do, she asks for a chocolate croissant. They bring it to her on a silver platter. In a perfect world, a boy is the captain of a wrestling team. He beats anyone who dare try. Everyone loves him. In a perfect world, You are the ruler and I am your servant. You ask for special suits and fancy dresses, and I bring them to you. In a perfect world, Cinderella's step-sisters obey her. Snow-White abandons the queen. Pinocchio becomes a real boy right away. But this is not my perfect world. In my perfect world, I live in my house. I do the things I already do. I go to school at Randall Elementary. I don't dream of a better place, or want my own world. Because I already live in my perfect world.

My Friend, The Fish

About a couple days ago, my best friend, Winter sadly passed away because of a big swollen eye (A.K.A. Popeye.) And a few days before that, I noticed it. But, I just thought it was a thing on his eye. I should of looked closer, because I didn’t see his pupil. Poor Winter. Never even got to spend his birthday with him. I was what you call . . . Devastated. Sad. Tearful. Mad. Mad at me for not telling someone. For thinking, “Ah, he’ll be fine.” Well guess what Misa? He’s not! But it’s too late to warn myself because maybe I don’t know, two days later, I’m feeding him and I looked even closer. “ Why is that big thing still there? Oh my gosh Winter! You have a swollen eye!” I was thinking out loud and my mom and my brother heard me.We quickly searched the web and found a website that said you should act quickly to prevent death, blindness or the eye falling completely out of his socket! I was so scared, that I started to cry. My mom kept on saying, “ It’s okay. We’re treating it.” But it was a slightly too late. “Um mama? Winter is floating in the corner,” said my little bro. And then it happened. I cried a little. Then more. Then . . . it was pouring my tears. Winter was gone.

It was horrible. The crying. The tears. The empty hole in my heart. I can’t stand thinking about him. And some people call it crazy, to have a fish as your best friend. I don’t. Yes, he may be gone, but I am proud to call him,

My friend, the fish.

Recipe For Happiness

Every day, is a miracle, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Do you know why? The birds sing, the flowers glow, there are smiles creeping up on every gloomy face, and the best part, every moment you spent with the people you love. The expression representing this is Happiness.

The key to happiness is a pinch of kindness, a dash of smiles, and a whole jar of LOVE!!!!!
This little recipe is for everyone who like to love.

Live to love.
It’s
What
We
Do
Best.

Dearest Memories

I was cleaning my room when I noticed something shining in the distance.
I pick it up. Hold it for a minute, then recognize it.

It was a doll. Not just any doll, but Kara. Kara was my absolute FAVORITE doll when I was littler. I remember the time when I lost her and got so upset I wouldn't get out of bed until I found it in my pillow case. I chuckle a little and go back to cleaning my room.

I search for clumps of toys mashing against each other, and I find my giraffe, Zu-Zu. I remember the day I got it. It was my last day of kindergarten. My teacher came up with this idea, that you had to fill up a jar with marbles, and when you filled it up, your WHOLE class got a prize. We filled up the biggest marble jar we had. We got little stuffed-animals. My teacher even cried. I knew I would have something to remember her by.

I finally come to my last part of my room. I look everywhere for clothes unfolded and untidy. I find a jean skirt with a ocean fabric sewn across it. I defiantly remember this one. My sister got me it for my 3rd birthday. It went down to my ankles. One morning, in first grade, I noticed there was a hole in my skirt. Naturally, I told my parents. Luckily, I know a great sewer, so I asked her to sew my skirt, and she did!

So thank-you my dearest memories. You helped me a lot.
